Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples has been an American performer and actor for more than a decade. Her best-recognition was for her roles in Nashville The 2012 drama, as Layla Grant. She also won the award in Sharknado 2013 where she portrayed Claudia Shepard. She was the lead character Jerrica Jem Benton in the 2015 film Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. She has a younger sister Ally. Aubrey spent ten seasons performing in the Orlando Repertory Theatre. She was the valedictory speech of her school during her time at Lake Mary Preparatory School. Harvard University was willing to accept her. However, she turned down the opportunity twice. It was the second time that it was due to the fact that she wanted to perform in Nashville. Peeples appeared in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and also had a recurring role in Necessary Roughness (1991). She was seen in TV films Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective as well as The Good Mother. She played a prominent role on the Nashville series, where she played Layla Grant. In 2019, Peeples spoke about her bipolar disorder in an interview in NKD Magazine. Indiewire identified Peeples among the best performers under the age of twenty old in September 2014.
